Abstract Current Setting for the WirelessGRID help page. - This tab allows you to view, but not change, system information and current setup of your WirelessGRID bridge.
This tab allows you to view, but not change, system information and current setup of your WirelessGRID bridge.

Current Settings:

Software Revision. Current software (firmware) version installed on bridge you are connected to.

Hardware Revision. Current hardware revision of bridge you are connected to.

   Bridge Uptime . Time bridge has been up since last reboot

Operating In. Specifies the general frequency range WirelessGRID bridge is operating in.

Unique Name. The bridge name is a unique name you give the bridge, and can contain up to 32 characters.  Control characters are not allowed in this field.

Wired Network Settings:

IP Address. Current IP address of the WirelessGRID bridge you are working with. The IP address for each WirelessGRID bridge must be unique, so please check with the network administrator for the correct IP address to be assigned to this device.

Subnet Mask. Current subnet mask of the WirelessGRID bridge you are working with. The subnet mask allows networking software to determine which parts of the IP address specify the network address and which parts specify the host address.

Gateway Address. Current gateway address of the WirelessGRID bridge you are working with. IP packets destined for other subnets are automatically sent to the default gateway, which routes the traffic to the correct network.

MAC Address. Unique Ethernet address of bridge you are connected to.

Radio Network Settings:

WirelessGRID ID. Displays the unique network ID. All base stations and subscriber units in a WirelessGRID network are required to use the same SSID. The bridge name is used to uniquely identify bridges in the same network.

Radio Channel (Center Frequency). Current IEEE or Public Safety channel and center frequency for the WirelessGRID bridge.

Noise Floor . Current Noise Floor level

   Radio Data Rate. Current radio data rate setting. Available options for data rates are based on the Channel Size (width).

Radio Transmit Power. Current radio transmit power setting.

5 GHz Radio Mode. Current mode (eg. Base Station, Client, Bridge, Repeater, etc).

Transmit Power Control (TPC). Current status of TPC (eg. enable or disable).

Dynamic Frequency Selection (DFS). Current status of DFS (eg. enable or disable).

WirelessGRID Bridge List: Current List of bridges allowed to associate with and communicate in a WirelessGRID network.

Bridge MAC Address. MAC Address of a bridge configured to access WirelessGRID network. This entry is required for each bridge allowed in the WirelessGRID.

Location Identifier. Not enabled currently. Text Identifier to help you identify a bridge in the network. Commonly used as a location identifier (eg: CPE_Building1).
